Angel Grove

IMDb website
Angel Grove is the fictional town where the Power Ranger teens go to high school.

The new Power Rangers movie fulfilled my childhood dreams.  It was really good, fun to watch, easy to follow, and had silly humor, making it very entertaining.

Before we meet any of the soon-to-be rangers, their origin is revealed. The film opens with Zordon, who guides the new rangers, fighting Rita Repulsa, the villain who wants to destroy the rangers and Zordon.

To discover what happens before Angel Grove was really cool and interesting.

After the opening scene, Jason, a.k.a. the Red Ranger is introduced followed by Billy, the Blue Ranger, and Kimberly, the Pink Ranger. Later, Trini, the Yellow Ranger, and Zack, the Black Ranger, come along.

The new power rangers focuses on character development. Viewers learn they are teen misfits.

I like that there isn’t fight scene after fight scene. This movie is more about how each of the teenagers become the Power Rangers, and learn to control their powers.

After the rangers get their powers, they have to learn to work together to morph into their armor. With the help of Alpha 5 and Zordon, they learn how to fight and become a team.

The rangers do not morph for most of the movie, which is a tad irritating.

After they finally do morph, they go to fight Rita Repulsa and save all of Angel Grove.

Overall, the movie was fantastic. I loved the movie, and I would definitely go see it again.

Thank you its great to know somebody else feels the same way. When I saw this earlier open night we had a group of over 22 people and at eh end, we we’re like little kids again. This wasn’t just a movie it gave me back my childhood.
