The Borah Senator

Skye Vialpando
Joining Borah newly as a sophomore, I decided to join Journalism due to a career planning class I took over the summer. It was suggested that, for my future career goals, that I attend a journalism class and evolve not only my writing skills, but also my speaking techniques. I am absolutely infatuated with writing, be it fictional or essays, and I suppose this may go for most of those who joined journalism or the newspaper. Among this, this goes side by side with reading - not only is it simply an entertaining activity, it is proven to improve your writing and style. After high school, I plan to carry out my love of writing and take college courses pertaining to literature. Because, after all, my “ultimate” goal is to become a novelist of sorts. Even during high school, I - of course - would want to work towards the goal.
